The following Obituary was composed by niece Phyllis Rhodes
No known newspaper obituary.
The name of the Mt. Park Newspaper in 1909 was Mountain Park Lance.

Mountain Park Lance, Mountain Park, Oklahoma December 1909

Blancher Rose Hoover, daughter of Jerry and Bergula (Blumer) Hoover was born December 14, 1904 in Davis County, Iowa. The family moved to the Mountain Park, Oklahoma area in 1905 to join other family members who came here in 1901.

Blanche’s sojourn in Oklahoma was cut short when she lost her battle with diphtheria and croup.

She is survived by her parents, five sisters-Clara, Grace, Winnie, Minnie and Mayme and three brothers-Marion, Sherman and Clarence Hoover.

Burial has taken place in the Mountain Park Cemetery. Thus she joins her paternal grandfather, Elijah Hoover in eternal rest.
