Juanita Davis Gentry

Nov. 8, 1917 - 2002

Juanita Davis was born November 8, 1917 at Boyd Texas to Jim and Bassie (McConnell) Davis and passed away at Elkview General Hospital in Hobart after a long illness at the age of 84.

She graduated from Hobart High School and Kiowa County Junior College.

Juanita and J. Bryan Gentry were married February 4, 1938 at Hobart and he preceded her in death on February 3, 1997.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hobart and worked as financial secretary for over 20 years. Juanita was a member of P.E.O. , an active antique collector and a tole painter.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and a brother Ralph Wayne Davis.

Surviving her include two sons, William E. Gentry and wife Susan, and Dr. James Walter Gentry, Greenbelt MD.; six grandchildren; and three nieces.
