Funeral services for Adam J. Brillhart, 67, pioneer county farmer, were held 3 p.m. Friday, March 21, 1947 at the Methodist church in Hobart with Rev. Percy Beck officiating. Burial followed in the Hobart cemetery.

Adam was born February 9, 1880 at Bluffton, Ohio and died at 10:20 Wednesday morning in the Sentinel hospital.

He had filed on a farm southwest of Hobart in 1901 and farmed in Kiowa county since its beginning. At the time of his death, he was living on his farm northwest of Hobart on the Sentinel road.

He married Anna Dalke of Mt. View in 1906, and they had eight children, two of which preceded him in death.

He is survived by his widow; three sons - Elmer, Okmulgee; Melvin and Efton, Hobart; and three daughters - Mrs. Velma Eskew, Verden; Mrs. Verna Waddell, Dallas; and Ruby Ann of the home.
