Alma Amanda Reimer passed from this life on Saturday, April 21, 1984 in Cheyenne after an extended illness at the age of 76.

She was born September 27, 1907 to Marion T. and Caroline Cordella Rollins in Washita County near Gotebo, Oklahoma.

In 1927, Alma graduated from Gotebo High School.

On September 30, 1928, she was united in marriage to Dr. George A. Reimer, a young chiropractor practicing in Corn, Oklahoma. To this union two daughters and one son was born, Beverly Beth on February 28, 1932; Patricial Lou {affectionately called Patty} on June 28, 1934; and Rollin DeWayne on May 28, 1939.

Patty passed away at the early age of 2 1/2 years.

Alma accepted Christ as her Saviour in 1921 and united with the First Baptist Church in Gotebo.

She came to Cheyenne with her husband to set up a new Chiropractic practice in 1933 and among the first things Doc and Alma did after moving to Cheyenne was to seek out a church home. They joined the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne.

Mrs. Reimer was an active member of the church. She taught Sunday School classes, sang in the choir and enjoyed working in the woman's missionary union. Alma was a gracious hostess to visiting evangelists and youth groups.

She was a past President of the Platonic Club of Cheyenne and past Matron of The Eastern Star. She was also a member of White Shrine.

Much of Alma's time was devoted to assisting her husband in his "practice" and in the early years in Cheyenne, she cared for many patients in the home.

Alma always had a great concern for the young people and was a great source of encouragement to them. Her love overflowed to children, grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

During Alma's long extended illness, she conveyed to the family true Christian character.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Patty; one grandson, John Rollin Reimer; two brothers, Luther Rollins and Leslie Pollins; and one sister, Ada Albin.

She is survived by husband, Dr. George A. Reimer of the home; daughter, Beverly Beth Mogg, El Reno; son, Rollin DeWayne Reimer of Cheyenne; two brothers, Clarence Rollins of Clovis, New Mexico; and James Rollins of Mt. View; four sisters, Leora Hulett, Mt. View; Nannie Ashworth, Elk City; Ola Redden and Lavone Savage, both of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on April 27, 1984 in the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne with Bro. Aubrey Cowan officiating. Burial was in the Gotebo Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral services.

Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons, Jack Mogg, George Reimer, Joe Mogg and David Reimer; also Dale Metzier, Don Saunders and Nick Carter.
