Billy Joe Huddleston

Billy Joe Huddleston was born June 25, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK to William H. and Ruby (Boaz) Huddleston and passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Durant, OK at the age of 54 years, 8 months and 11 days. Joe attended schools in OKC and received his GED. He worked as a customer service technician for Oklahoma Natural Gas, Co. until his health declined in 1990. He moved to Marshall County in 1994 from Oklahoma City. Joe was a member of the Texoma Southern Baptist Church in Shay. Joe loved people and never met a stranger.

His boys were the joy of his life. He was an avid fan of Oklahoma University Sooners and the Kingston Redskins. In his younger days, he liked working on cars, hanging out with his dad, and camping and fishing with family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Joe is survived by his sons Jeff and Alex Huddleston of Kingston, OK, brothers David and Kelly Huddleston of Garland, TX; ex wife Marsha Huddleston of Kingston; special friends and caretakers Lindsey and Marty Kaler and their families of Calera; numerous other relatives and a host friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2011 at Brown's Funeral Service Chapel with Joe Patterson officiating. Family hour will be 6-8 PM Thursday, March 10, 2011. Burial will be in Gotebo Cemetery 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 12, 2011. Pallbearers will be Cling Jones, Bryan Jones, Marty Kaler and Michael Strait.
