Graveside services for Delores Ann Fletcher Burns will be held Thursday, September 19, 2002, at 10 a.m. in the Gotebo Cemetery, Gotebo, Oklahoma with Chaplin Leo Hise officiating. Services will be under the direction of the Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Hinton, Oklahoma.
She was born March 21, 1953 at Minco, Oklahoma to John Aubrey and Thema (Sellers) Fletcher. She passed away Sunday, September 15, 2002 at the Cedar Creek Living Center in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 49.
Delores graduated from Hydro High School in 1971 and was united in marriage to Lynn Burns.
She was a long time employee of Robertson's Curtain Factory in Cordell until her illness.
She was a loving caring mother and wife. She enjoyed fishing and riding her horse Gypsy. She loved animals.
Survivors include her husband Lynn of the home; two children Crystal Matthews of San Diego, California and John Burns of Gotebo, Oklahoma; two grandchildren Austin and Cheyenne Matthews, both of San Diego, California; five brothers Johnnie Fletcher of Yukon, Oklahoma, Jerry Fletcher of Birmingham, Alabama, Ronnie Fletcher of Sterling, Oklahoma and Tommie Fletcher of Sunray, Texas; two sisters Doris Flowers and Norman, Oklahoma and Debbie Fletcher of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
