The funeral for Betty C. Mitchell, 84, Dover was at 10:00 AM Wednesday November 15, 2017 at Central Baptist Church officiated by Rev. David Mendenhall.

Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Betty was born in Dover on July 30, 1933 to Clarence C. and Mildred Grape Barker and died Friday November 10, 2017 at her home. She married Ira B. Mitchell in Dover June 21, 1952. Betty was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Betty is survived by her husband Ira B. Mitchell of the home; one son Steven Mitchell and wife Linda of Crescent; one daughter Karen Hellwege and husband Ernie of Kingfisher; three grandchildren Elliott Hellwege and wife Hillary, Kamara Hellwege, Kashlyn Mitchell and one brother Robert Barker and wife Jane of Missouri.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

Betty’s family wishes to express their appreciation to Healthback, Valir Hospice, and her  caregivers.
