The funeral for Margaret Yvonne Stubby Smith, 65, will be at 2 PM Sunday at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Melvin R. Duncan will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Lyon Valley Cemetery northeast of Hennessey.

The casket will remain closed at the service.

She was born March 23, 1928, in Guthrie to Daniel and Cora Irene Hawk Seal and died Tuesday, December 28, 1993 at her home after a period of ill health. As a young child, she moved to Enid where she attended school. She was employed by Banfield Packing Company for many years, then worked for Safeway for 33 years, retiring in the early 1980s due to ill health.

Surviving are two sons, Russell Dwaine Smith of Wichita, Kansas, and Glen Dale Smith of North Enid; one sister, Cora Myrl Jantzen of Lahoma; one brother, Donald Seal of Enid; four grandchildren; and one great – grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter in 1953, and five brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart or Lung Division.

The family will be at the home of Donald Seal.
