The Homegoing Celebration for Gail Kious, 91-year-old Enid resident, will be 2:00pm Saturday, March 11, 2023, at Victory Bible Church, 402 N. 20th, Enid; Willie Vinson officiating.

Burial will be later in Lyon Valley Cemetery, Hennessey. Cremation Services were provided by Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Gail was born February 14, 1932, in Girard, Kansas to Alfred B. and Pearl (Brown) Borden, she went home to heaven on March 2, 2023 in Enid, surrounded by her loving family.

Gail graduated from Girard High School, Girard, Kansas. Gail married Billy Joe Kious on July 10, 1952, in Girard, Kansas. Gail was a pastor's wife and took her calling seriously, she was a great prayer warrior and will be missed by many but especially her children, whom she loved and prayed for daily going down the list to pray for them, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and then her great-great grandchildren. Psalms 91 was her favorite chapter.
 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; sister, Esther Freeman; four brothers, Parker, Clark, Bill and Max Borden.
 

She is survived by four children, Kathy Young; Jim Kious and wife, Jeannie; Becki Koehler and husband, Tom; Janna Thompson and husband, Robert; nine grandchildren, Chris Young and wife, Philisha; Chad Young and wife, Amber; Shani Dear and husband, Jeff; Joe Kious and wife, Jody; Nathan Kious; Amber Warden and husband, Zane; Kimberly Pyle and husband, Chad; Kenton and wife, Elizabeth Schumacher; Tyler Thompson; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandsons; two sisters-in-law, Myrna Hershberger; Linda Hodgden and husband, Bill as well as numerous extended family.
 

Memorial donations may be made in Gail's honor through the funeral home to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
