HENNESSEY - Hettie E. Hawk, 86, died in an Enid hospital Sunday evening. Her funeral will be today at 2 p.m. in the Union Chapel Church with Rev. Joe Redmond officiating. Burial will be in Lyon Valley Cemetery under the direction of Cordy and Son Funeral Home, Hennessey.

The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service. Following the service, the casket will remain closed.

Mrs. Hawk was born in the state of Kansas, coming to Oklahoma with her parents at an early age. They settled in the Cashion community. She lived most of her adult life on a farm east of Hennessey. She was a member of the Union Chapel Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include four sons, Sam, Hennessey, Clarence, Oklahoma City, Lee ,Enid, and Leman, Bossier City, La.; one daughter, Mrs. David (Edna) Barnes, Garber; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son in 1950, one son and one daughter.
