 KINGFISHER - The funeral for Ruth Van Horn, 61, will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Kevin Rodgers will officiate.  Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service.

She was born May 9, 1940, in Kingfisher to George W. and Thelma Weaver Van Horn and died Saturday July 21, 2001, at her home in Kingfisher. She was employed with Shutler, Baker, Simpson law firm and later worked at Kingfisher Court House in the district court clerk's office for 30 years, retiring in January of 1999. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Kingfisher.

Surviving are her mother, Thelma O. Van Horn of Kingfisher and one sister, Linda Weaver of Oklahoma City. 

She was preceded in death by one brother.
