Juanita Frances Thomas died April 18, 2008 in Blackwell, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 25 days. She was born October 24, 1953 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to Edward Layton and Reba Lee (Stanley) Stout. She married Jesse Lee Free in 1971 and then married Patrick Adam Thomas, Sr. 1994, he preceded her in death on December 27, 2002.

Mrs. Thomas worked for several Nursing Homes and Hospitals in the area as a Nurses Aid. Her last job was at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Blackwell. She had such a giving spirit and would bring in the homeless and care for them, putting their needed in front of hers. Most of all Frances loved her family. She dedicated her life to everyone in her family.

Survivors include, five daughters, Shannon Wood and husband Brian, Chasity Free, Kenna Jo, Geneva and Michelle; one son, Patrick Adam Thomas, Jr.; three brothers, Jay Wigg and wife Donna, Wayne Stout and wife Diane and Billy Stout and wife Amber Lee; one sister, Rebecca Stout; Numerous grandchildren, one great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Patrick, Sr., two daughters, Tara Dawn Thomas and Trisha Gayle Thomas and by one sister, Barbara Bible.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 graveside at the Kingfisher Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Abernathy Aaron Funeral Home in Crescent. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at abernathyaaron.com.
