MRS. SVOBODA DROWNED IN  CREEK NEAR KINGFISHER

Mrs Carl Svoboda, 35, was drowned in Little Kingfisher Creek, about 5 miles south west of Kingfisher last Saturday morning about 9 o'clock when she attempted to cross the swollen  creek to bring the horsed up from the pasture.

A search began immediately when her horse returned home without her. Her body was found Sunday morning about 3 miles  down stream.
She is survived by her invalid husband and four small children.

She was the daughter of George Newer of Kingfisher.

Funeral services were held  Tuesday at  Kingfisher with burial in the Kingfisher Cemetery.
