The funeral for Betty Jean LaFave, 70, of Kingfisher will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Church of The Nazarene , Kingfisher. The Revs. Shane Rackley and Lynn Ellingson will officiate. Burial will follow in Kingfisher Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sanders Funeral Service.
She was born Jan. 28, 1934, in Wills Point, Texas, to Jesse Conley and Alice Mae Robbins and died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004, after battling cancer.
She married G.G. “Frenchy” LaFave July 4, 1952, in Terrell, Texas. She worked as a book- keeper for Midwest Trenchers and Parts Inc. She founded Son Shine Gospel Barn in 1998. She was a member of Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are her husband, Frenchy of the home; five children, Garry LaFave of Cashion, Jimmy LaFave of Austin, Texas, Lee Ann Byers of Muskogee, Robert LaFave of Edmond and Connie Gallupe of Kingfisher; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
