Kingfisher – Walt H. Hansens, 89, died Monday at his home near Kingfisher.

Service will be at 2 PM Wednesday in the Federated Church at Kingfisher with the Rev. Lonnie Lee officiating.

Burial will be in the Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher.

Hansens was born November 6, 1890, in DeLand, Illinois, and moved to Oklahoma in 1903 to the Kingfisher area where he has farmed all of his life. On September 20, 1916, he married Alma Hellwege in Kingfisher.

Hansens was a member of the Federated Church, I00F Lodge and Modern Woodmen.

Survivors include his wife, Alma; two sons, Herbert and Ralph, both of Kingfisher; two daughters, Adele, of the home, and Mrs. Ruth Murray, Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; and eight great – grandchildren.
