Robert Lawrence "Larry" Francis

Robert “Larry” Lawrence Francis, 66, of Okarche, passed away July 6, 2022, in Oklahoma City.
 

Larry was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Kingfisher to Robert M. and Gwen Lawrence Francis.

He was a master of all things mechanical.

He was also a beloved dad, Pop, brother, uncle and friend.

Larry also had a 5-star rating on Facebook Marketplace.

He always said, “Yes, I will help you!” when anyone needed him.

His family always came first.

Larry was proud of his sons he raised and the lives they are building as they raise their own families. RIP MFL.
 

Larry was preceded in death by his parents.
 

Survivors include son Matt Francis and wife Ashley and their children Hudson and Hadlee of Chattanooga, Tenn.; son Kurt Francis and wife Katie and their children Ayden and Gemma of Piedmont; son Clint Francis and wife Kaitlyn and their daughter Kora of Piedmont; sister Judith Horn and husband John of Edmond; sister Miki Seeman and husband Ed of Arvada, Colo.; brother David Francis and wife Ruthie of Stillwater; sister Phoebe McGuffee and husband Mike of Ft. Collins, Colo.; 15 nieces and nephews.
 

A wake will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Buchanan Funeral Service, 8712 N. Council Road, Oklahoma City.
 

The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kingfisher followed by interment at Kingfisher Cemetery.
 

Pallbearers are Matt Francis, Kurt Francis, Clint Francis, Ryan Seeman, Tyler Horn, Jordan McGuffee and Kris Nelson.  Honorary pallbearers are Nick McGuffee, Jason Clark, Matt Waddell, Jason East and Michael Endres.


Services are under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Service, Oklahoma City.
