The funeral for Stanley "Red" Armstrong, 81, of Dover will be at 2 PM Wednesday
at the Sanders Funeral Chapel in Kingfisher with the Rev. Jack Winkler
officiating.
He died Monday at the Kingfisher Regional Hospital. Burial will be in Kingfisher
Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service.
Armstrong was born in Dover, January 4, 1908 to Ervin and Jane Armstrong, and
attended Dover and Kingfisher schools.
He had lived in the Dover – Kingfisher area most of his life.
He married Dorothy Krieble in Kingfisher, May 1, 1927.
Armstrong was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Wright,
Waukomis; five grandchildren, 11 great – grandchildren and one great – great –
grandchild; and one sister, Mona Wispell, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by one son, one grandson and three brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kingfisher Regional Hospital.
