A Celebration of Life and Remembrance for Ricky Neal Andrews, age 62 years, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Reverend Ronald Willson will officiate.

A private burial for family only will follow in Kingfisher Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rick passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Enid.

Rick was born July 7, 1953 in Enid to Norman Andrews and Patsy Dean (Jones) Andrews. He attended schools in Enid, later moving to Redlands, California where he graduated from the class of 1971. He loved fishing with his brothers at Canton Lake and Lake Blackwell. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Friends were very important to Rick, if anyone was having a bad day, he was always able to cheer them up.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Andrews and Patsy Boerner, and one brother, Scotty Thorlton.

Rick is survived by six children, daughter Tammy Andrews and husband Jason Serpas, of Mississippi; Lori Andrews, of Ohio; J.R. Andrews of Mississippi; Rickie Andrews and Michael Carpenter, of McAlester, Oklahoma; Patrick Andrews and wife Tatum, of McAlester; Stephanie Collins, of Enid; eighteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
