Kingfisher – Mrs. Minnie (Kable) American Horse, 79, died Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday in the First Baptist Church, Kingfisher, with Rev. Guy Lotzier, pastor of Broadway Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Hackney Funeral Home, Kingfisher.

Mrs. American Horse was born in Calumet on August 9, 1895. She has lived in Calumet, Okarche and Kingfisher area all her life. She was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church and VFW War Mother's Club.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Grace Tallbird, Gallup, New Mexico, Mrs. Ruth West, Tonkawa, Mrs. Ella Withrow, and Mrs. Ester Hamilton, both of Kingfisher; and many grandchildren and great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1967, one daughter and one son.

A wake service will be held Thursday evening in the Broadway Baptist Church, Kingfisher.
