Charles E. Altizer
Enid, OK — The graveside service for Charles E. Altizer, 70, of Kingfisher, will be 2 p.m. today, March 7, 2009, in Kingfisher Cemetery. The Rev. James Inman will officiate. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home.
He was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Kingfisher to Elmer and Mary Altizer and died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in Kingfisher.
He married Mary Turiff in 1958. They made their home in Kingfisher where he farmed and worked for the county. As a youngster he traveled with the circus.
Surviving are three sons, Huck Altizer and Billy Altizer, both of Kingfisher, and Gary Altizer of Okarche; three daughters, Nadana Grant of El Reno, Cheryl and Lisa Avery, both of Lexington, Ga.; one brother, James Altizer of Yukon; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
