Kingfisher – The funeral for Addie Mae Allen, 69, be at 1 PM Thursday at Pilgrim
Rest Baptist Church in Kingfisher. The Rev. J. B. Wallace will officiate.
Burial
will be in the Kingfisher Cemetery under direction of Russworm Funeral Home,
Watonga.
She was born August 27, 1925, in Anderson County, Texas, to Frank and Lillie
Clewis and died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City.
She was a member of the Marih Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
Surviving are her husband, John H. Allen; two sons, James L. Allen and John H.
Allen Jr.; one sister, Laura Whitehead of Houston, Texas; two brothers, A. D.
Clewis of Los Angeles, California, and Willie B. Clewis of Oklahoma City; 13
grandchildren; and 20 great – grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons and two brothers.
