Services for Naomi Alene Hixon Stinson, 92 will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday March 10, 2020, at First United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. P. J. Stewart.

A private family interment will precede. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.


Naomi was born in Enid on September 30, 1927, to Arlie Cecil and Hazel Moulton Hixon and died Wednesday March 4, 2020, at Integris Acute Long-Term Care Pavilion in Enid.
Naomi graduated from Hennessey High School in 1945 and attended cosmetology school. She married Glenn H. Stinson in Hennessey on September 19, 1948. Naomi owned and operated several beauty salons throughout her career as well as a ceramics business.

She is survived by two daughters Brenda Stinson Bryan and husband Robert of Hennessey, Rebecca Stinson Curtis of Edmond; brother-in-law Leon Goodwin; sister Mary Eaton and husband Ken; one son Mike Stinson and wife Cindy of Kingfisher; four grandchildren Shellee Methe and husband Jeff, John McFarland and wife Olivia, Jennifer Porter and husband Kyle, Lindsey Bryan; five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn, one sister Donna Goodwin, one brother Lyman Hixon, and one great-granddaughter Kate Porter.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the United Methodist Women with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
