The funeral for Johnnie Belle Ritz, 87, will be Monday, Nov. 2, 2020, at First Baptist Church.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

The funeral for Johnnie Belle Ritz, 87 will be at 2:00 PM Monday November 2, 2020 at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Griff Henderson and Rev. Drew McElhaney.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Viewing will be at funeral home Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Johnnie was born at Poplarville, Mississippi on October 10, 1933 to John and Ida Belle Smith Alexander and died Wednesday October 28, 2020 at her home in Hennessey.

She married Lewis Andrew “Jack” Ritz in Gulfport, Mississippi on November 12, 1955.

Johnnie was a member of First Baptist Church and worked at Farmers and Merchants National Bank for several years.
 

Johnnie is survived by her husband Jack of the home; one daughter Trena Ritz of Stillwater; three sons Mike Ritz of Enid, Perry Ritz and wife Christa of Hennessey, Tim Ritz and wife Sherry of Jenks; one brother David Alexander; two sisters Mary Cooley and Charlotte Stewart; thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
 

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents and her son Andy Ritz.
 

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Parkinson’s Foundation with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
