Bertha Haymaker Ricks, who was born 72 years ago on the family farm southeast of town, died Oct 2 in an Enid hospital after a long illness.

She & Theodore Ricks wer married on Oct 10, 1921.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Surviving her are the husband of the home; 2 daughters, Mrs Fred Grassmann of OK City, Mrs Clyde Crosswhite, of Dismark, IL; 2 sisters, Mrs Murray Perigo & Mrs Flora Grimes; 4 brothers, Jack Haymaker, of Dumas, TX, R V Haymaker, Melvin Haymaker, & Raymond Haymaker; 6 grandchildred & one great-grandson

Services were Oct 4 in the Unite Methodist Church with the Reverends Faris Weaver & Vida Robinson officiating. 

Buria in the Hennessey Cemetery was directed by Cordry & Son.
