The funeral for Barbara Ortega, 36 will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Christo Rey Baptist Church officiated by Jairo Carmona.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Barbara was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 28, 1981 to Alvin Gene and Mary Helen Chavez Archunde and died Friday November 3, 2017 at her home in Hennessey.

She married Isreal Ortega in Hennessey. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Kingfisher.

Barbara is survived by her husband Isreal of the home; three sons Daniel, Alejandro, and Fernando Ortega; three sisters Michelle Vargas, Amy Archunde, all of Hennessey Mandy Nappier of Roswell, New Mexico; her mother Mary Helen Chavez and step father Alfonso Torrez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her father Alvin Gene Archunde of Kingman, Arizona.

Barbara was preceded in death by her grandparents.
