Enid News and Eagle (OK) - October 31, 2009

A graveside service for Jane Ann Nelson, 58, of Enid, will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, in Hennessey Cemetery . A memorial service will be 11 a.m. in New Hope United Methodist Church. The Rev. Sheila Combs-Francis will officiate. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home .

She was born Dec. 10, 1951, in Oklahoma City to Floyd Michael and Fern Cline Nelson and died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at her home .

She was raised and educated in Lacey and Hennessey and graduated from Hennessey High School in 1969. She attended the University of Oklahoma and East Central University. She moved to Enid and worked for Enid Group Homes for several years. She moved to Tulsa and Claremore, before moving back to Enid in May. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church of Enid.

Surviving are one brother, Harry Nelson of Norman.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to New Hope United Methodist Church.
