Melba Anna (Briix) Miller, LPN
The funeral for Melba Anna Briix Miller, 93, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hennessey Church of Christ. Lanny Jobe will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 4:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born March 13, 1913, in Canton to George Ernest and Anna Glaesline Briix and died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, in Tulsa.
She married Harold F. Miller in 1935. She was a member of Hennessey Church of Christ and Hennessey Senior Citizens Center. She was a licensed practical nurse.
Surviving are three sons, Dan Miller of Tulsa, Duane Miller of Edmond and Doyle Miller of Hennessey; one daughter, Janice Laughlin of Copper Canyon, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Harold, one brother and one sister.
Memorials may be made to Hennessey Church of Christ, 705 E. 4th Street, Hennessey, OK 73742.
