The funeral for Amalia Regalado de Marquez, 85 will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday October 4, 2022 at Cristo Rey Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Fransisco Oropeza.

Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Amalia was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on September 14, 1937 to Estanislado Regalado and Juana Escarcega and died Thursday September 29, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Clovis, New Mexico.


She is survived by one son Francisco Marquez and wife Connie of Hennessey; two daughters Luz Odille Marquez of Garden City, Kansas, Ivone Marquez and companion Jose Rivas of Clovis, New Mexico; twelve grandchildren, Randy Marquez and his children Isabella Marquez, Valentine Marquez, Juliette Marquez; Eric Marquez and wife Meagan and their son Gabriel Benjamin Marquez; Elizabeth Marin and husband Miguel and their children Aylie Joy and Elex Angel; Cindy Hernandez and child Angeliah Barraza Hernandez, Jose Hernandez and child Joselin Hernandez, Jorge Hernandez and children Elijah Hernandez and Royce Hernandez, Irvy Hernandez and child Maxim Hernandez; Marlene Mireles Marquez; Ashley and daughters Izabella and Jiselle Marquez, Itzel and two sons Sloan and Julian Marquez; Aron Marquez and Mario Marquez.


Amalia was preceded in death by her husband Eleazar Marquez Silva, and one son Aron Marquez.
