Memorial service for Diane Macy, 53, of Hennessey, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at Hennessey High School Auditorium, officiated by Mickey Moery. Cremation arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Diane was born Jan. 18, 1957, in Omaha, Neb., to Dewayne and Kathleen Fipps Bohnstedt and died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minn. She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1975 and attended Enid Beauty College. She was a member of Las Vegas Bowling League in Enid and was employed by Walmart in Enid from 1986 until her death. She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1975 and attended Enid Beauty College. She was a member of Las Vegas Bowling League in Enid and was employed by Walmart in Enid from 1986 until her death. Diane married Gary Macy in Hennessey Sept. 9, 1976.

She is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; two sons, David Macy of Oklahoma City and Logan Macy and wife Melissa of Hennessey; her father, Dewayne Bohnstedt of Hennessey; two sisters, Debbie Gaither of Dover and Rae Wymore of Hennessey; three brothers, Jeff Broyles, Gene Broyles and George Witzke; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kate Bohnstedt, and one brother, Logan Bohnstedt.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Diane Macy Memorial Youth Basketball Fund with the funeral home serving as custodian.
