Dr. John Clarence Karcher

Hennessey – Dr. J. C. Karcher, 84, died Thursday in Dallas. Funeral service will be at 10 AM Monday in Hennessey Cemetery with Cordry and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Dr. Karcher was born in Indiana and came to Hennessey with his parents. He attended schools in Hennessey, graduated from the University of Oklahoma and received a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania University.

He is survived by one son, Paul Karcher of Midland, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. David Stone of Palo Alto, California; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Theron Hobbs of Hennessey.
