The funeral for Dorothy L. Hamil, 95, of Hennessey, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. The Revs. Bill Kious and Terry Bunch will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.
She was born May 21, 1910, southeast of Bison to Andrew and Leona Crites Fields and died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2005, at Hennessey Care Center.
She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1929.
She married Richard J. Hamil Sept. 5, 1931, in Wellington, Kan. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Sandy Wang and Karen Hobson, both of Houston, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, one son and eight brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to First Baptist Church.
