Lucy Leona (Norris) Goodpasture

Funeral services for Lucy Leona Goodpasture, 98, were at 2 p. m. Sat. Jan. 3 at the First Christian Church in Hennessey. Revs. Ed. Arbogast and Marvin Goodpasture officiated. Burial followed in the Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Sisson Funeral Home, Hennessey.
Lucy died Tues. Dec. 30, 1997 in Roswell, NM
She was born Feb. 25, 1899 in the Lacy community near Hennessey to William and Emma Walters Norris. Her parents had made the run of 1889.
Lucy and Dallas " Dal " Goodpasture were married March 19, 1921 in Enid. He died Oct. 20, 1996. They had been married 75 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and 10 brothers, one grand daughter and one great grand daughter.
Surviving are one son, Harland ( L. H. ) Goodpasture and his wife Lee of Roswell, NM: Two daughters, Juanita Goe of Roswell, NM and Mrs. Jack ( Breezie) Woods of Hennessey: 10 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
