SFC Harold Gene Goodpasture

Enid Morning News
Nov. 15, 1980

Harold Gene Goodpasture, 50, of Enid died suddenly at his home.

He was born Sept. 5, 1930 in Hennessey, Ok to Glen Leslie and Louise Lindley Goodpasture and attended school there and in Enid before he joined the US Army, 101 Air Borne,  paratroopers division.

He served in Korea and Viet Nam and returned to Enid after 20 years service.

He was active in the Enid Boxing program and was a member of the Olivet Baptist Church.

He is survived by  a son Michael Joseph Goodpasture ; four daughters, Linda Yerian, Barbara Williams, Carol Mauk, and Sherri Bell. His father, Glen and two sisters, Peggy Vendetti and Lois Burdick; and one brother , Darrell Goodpasture of Ark..
 
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Louise Lindley Goodpasture.

The funeral service will be in the Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Glenn officiating and burial will be in the Hennessey Cemetery, Kingfisher Co. OK
