HENNESSEY — The funeral for Mack Edsel, 77, will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home. Tim Taylor officiating. Burial in Hennessey Cemetery.

Mack was born July 13, 1935, in Winston Salem, N.C., to Rufus Martin and Alice Meadows Edsel and died Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at his home north of Hennessey.

He married Betty Bowden Sept. 2, 1961, in York, S.C.

Mack is survived by his wife, Betty of the home; sons, Michael E. Edsel and wife Janell of Hennessey, and Stephen R. Edsel and wife Michelle of Walnut Grove, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
