The funeral for Ricky Lee Cox, 52, will be 10 AM Saturday at First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dean Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Hennessey Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cordry – Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey.

He was born May 5, 1954, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Elvy Lee and Laura Belle Miller Cox and died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Integris Baptist Medical Ctr., Oklahoma City.

He moved to Hennessey with his family, graduating from Hennessey high school in 1974. He attended Northern Oklahoma College, Tonkawa, for two years. He owned
R&R Tool in Hennessey.

Surviving are four sons, Joe Ryan and Michael Wade Cox, both of Cherokee, and Billy Lee and Clay Allan Cox, both of Hennessey; three sisters, Diane Hawk of Hennessey, Debra Acord of Watonga and Brenda Cooper of Dover; one brother, Bobby Joe Cox of Hennessey; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials but be made through the funeral home to American Heart Association.
