The funeral for Jerry Brown, 65, was held at 2 p.m. Wed., Oct. 26, 2016 at Dover Christian Church officiated by Rev. Fred Jones.

Burial followed at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Jerry was born in Oklahoma City on Sept. 2, 1951 to Walter and Louise Brown and died Sun., Oct. 23, 2016 at Mercy Hospital, Kingfisher He married Rhonda Sue Hixon in Arkansas on November 27, 2008.

Jerry is survived by his wife Rhonda of the home; two sons Jacob Brown and wife Meghan of Greenleaf, Ark., Wesley Hixon and wife Heather of Dover; and nine grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and one step-son Curtis Hixon.
