Date of Death July 4, 1977

Hennessey – Bertie Blodgett, 76, died Monday in an Okeene hospital following several weeks of illness. Her service will be today at 2:30 PM in the first Baptist Church at Hennessey with the Rev. Bill Choate officiating. Burial will be in the Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry and Son Funeral Home, Hennessey.

Mrs. Blodgett was born west of Hennessey, and had lived in the area her entire lifetime. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Hennessey.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Iwilda Van Horn, Hennessey; one grandson; and three great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thompson, in 1968, and a daughter, Bonnie, in 1974.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund or the Building Fund at the First Baptist Church, the funeral home serving as custodian.
