The Funeral services celebrating the life of Martha Alice Best, 87, of Enid will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, 2:00 PM at United Pentecostal Church in Enid, with the Reverend Doctor Jack C. Garrison officiating.

Burial will follow in Hennessy Cemetery in Hennessey, Oklahoma under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Martha was born in Yuma County, Colorado on December 1, 1928 to Charlie and Daisy Kibel and passed from this life January 9, 2016 in Enid with her family by her side. She was educated in Straton and Canon City, Colorado. Martha meet and married Donald A. Best in Goodland, Kansas in 1946. In 1953 they moved to Enid. She was a Laundry Worker. She was affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church of Enid.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband: Donald “Don” Best on June 26, 2002, and a son Bobby Bruce Best, 1-24-1988.

She is survived by daughters: Alice A. Smith of Enid, Joyce Koncaba of Bayard, Nebraska, Barbara Lewis of Enid, seven grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to the United Pentecostal Church with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of funds.
