Burnell “Butch” Stevenson 72, passed away on January 17th at his home in Kingfisher, OK. Butch was born August 14th, 1952, in Enid, OK to Curtis M. and Minnie L. Stevenson.

He was baptized at an early age at First Missionary Baptist Church in Enid, OK. He graduated from Enid high school and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. He worked as a sales representative for Nabisco in Oklahoma City and later worked for Premier Marketing in Lake Forest, CA and Creek Golf Club in Ranch Santa Margarita, CA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis M. Stevenson; his mother, Minnie Crawford; brother, Eric Stevenson and nephew, Jay Caldwell.

He is survived by his son, Curtis B. Stevenson of National City, CA; sisters, Linda Caldwell of Dover, OK and Deborah Clark of Columbus, OH; several nieces nephews and other relatives and friends.


A graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, January 27th at Evans and Burns Cemetery in Dover.
