A celebration of life will be held on Saturday April 18th 2026 2pm at the First Baptist Church Hennessey Ok (Live stream will be available) with Rev. Jimmy Berkenbile officiating.

Burial will follow at the Dover Cemetery under the direction of Stittsworths in Enid.

Turk was born Lonnie McDade III to Lonnie Jr and Deborah (Moore) McDade on July 22, 1973 in Houston TX and passed away at his home on April 8th, 2026.

Turk grew up in Houston TX moving to Dover Ok in 1989 and graduating from Dover High School in 1991. After graduating Turk went to work for Jim and Peggy Lamer at their Tire shop in Loyal OK. Turk then worked for Stewart Seed Company for years. Turk began his career in law enforcement in the early 2000's as a dispatcher for the Hennessey Police Department. Turk married Frances McClurg on July 5th, 2004. Turk then made the move to the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office around 2005 or so starting as a Jailer and was working as a 911 dispatcher at the time of his passing.

To know Turk was to love Turk. He may be gone but that love will continue on in our memories. Turk was extremely funny and so quick witted. He would have a comeback for you before you could blink your eyes. Turk was the most chill person you would ever meet. Turk did not do drama and was famous for throwing out "My name's Paul and that's between ya'll or it's Bennett and I ain't in it. Turk was an avid or some would say rabid Oklahoma Sooners Football fan so we encourage everyone to break out the Sooner gear for the service.

Turk is survived by his parents Deborah and Lonnie McDade (Houston TX) Brother Christopher McDade Nephew Cameron McDade Great nephew Alex McDade Niece Kelsey McDade and Davon (Crescent OK), Half Siblings Red Williams (Rosenberg TX) and Ree Doaks (Houston TX), Aunts Bobbie Shorter (Egypt TX) Nel Goins (Dover OK) Tammy Moore (Hennessey OK) Uncles Michael and Randy Moore (Hennessey OK) Cousins Nat Nat, Jo Jo, Billy, John, Kevin, Crystal, Nick, Jasmine, Jordan and Eric.

Turk was preceded in death by numerous family and friends (too many to mention individually). Turk was preceded by his beloved Aunt Callie who had Down's Syndrome so if anyone would like to make a donation to the Special Olympics I think both Turk and Callie will be smiling in Heaven.
