PIONEER RESIDENT 
BURIED NEAR OLD HOME 
 
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Luella M. Jones , 82, who died at the home of her  son in Cushing, Okla., were held on Wednesday Jan 22, at Stillwater and  later the same day in the Eden Baptist Church northwest of Hennessey. 

Interment was made beside her deceased husband , the late George T.  Jones in the Cimarron Valley Cemetery, three and one-half miles northwest  of Lacy. 

Death resulted from pneumonia after approximately a week's illness at  the home of her son, in Cushing.  Her husband passed away on Feb. 25, 1905. 

Five sons and one daughter survive her- Charles of Cushing; Howard of  Hennessey; Ollie, of Greeley, Colo.; Milburn, of Oakland Calif., and Cecil  Jones and Mrs. Nellie Fisher , of Stillwater, Okla.  Also, two sisters and one  brother, Mrs. Susie Nelson and Mrs. Carrie Grimes , of Ames, and Oliver  Gleason,  of Okeene, Okla. 

She had been a resident of Oklahoma since  1891 , and was a pioneer of the Lacy community.
