BISON — The funeral for Patsy Jean Beebe Davis, 80, will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Shane Bennett officiating.

Burial will follow at Cimarron Valley Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

There will be a visitation with the family Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 at the funeral home. The casket will remain closed at the church.

Patsy was born in Yukon on May 31, 1942, to Othel and Nellie McCartney Beebe and died Monday November 7, 2022, at Hennessey Care Center. She married Clyde L. Davis in Enid on May 26, 1960. At an early age Patsy cared for her younger brothers and sisters. She began her working career at Dinette Café at age thirteen. She later operated an in-home daycare. Patsy was an avid seamstress and quilter and loved solving crossword puzzles.

Patsy is survived by her husband Clyde of the home; two daughters, Tamra Frakes and husband Larry, Kathryn Golay and husband Terry; one son, Leonard LeRoy Davis and wife Myong; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Lola Mercer, Candace Beebe, Wanda Beebe; and two brothers, Bill Beebe and Russell Beebe.
