Christina Nicole Burgess Leniger was born February 24, 1979 in Kingfisher, OK to Bob and Sue Burgess. She went home to be with the Lord on September 8, 2010.

Christina attended Cashion Public Schools where she graduated in 1997. She worked as a CNA and a home health aid most of her life. She enjoyed working with and taking care of her many residents. She also loved all the pets she ever had.

Christina had one daughter Kaylee Ann Doreen Leniger in 2000, also one son Payton Gregery Burtwell in 2005. She married Richard Leniger in 2009 in Enid, OK. They lived in Crescent, OK until she passed away from a 5 month battle with cancer.

She is survived by her husband Richard, daughter Kaylee, and son Payton all of Crescent, OK; parents Bob and Sue Burgess of Cashion, OK; brother Robert Burgess and his partner Jake of Yukon, OK; and a huge family of aunts, uncles, and cousins of Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2010 at Cashion Cemetery with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie, OK. Visitation will be Sunday, 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
