Funeral services for Jacob F. Vaverka, 77, a resident of Waukomis who died in an Oklahoma City hospital Friday morning, were conducted at 9 am Monday in the St. Joseph Church of Bison. 
Father Alojzy Waleczek officiated.

Interment was in the Hennessey Cemetery under the direction  of the Brown Funeral Home.  

Vaverka was born in Austria.  He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Bison.  He came  to the United States at an early age with his parents and settled first in Nebraska.  He moved to a farm  northwest of Waukomis 60 years ago and had lived there since that time.
 
Pallbearers were John N. Camp, Ted R. Moore, Charles Pospisil,  Gilbert Anderson, Henry Prybil  and Joe Linhurt.
 
He is survived by one daughter , Mrs. Jack Strain of Oklahoma City.
