BISON -Wake services for Antonie Vaverka, 96, who died Thursday at St. Mary's Hospital, Enid, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, at Cordry and Son Funeral Home in Hennessey.
 
Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bison with the Rev. James Mickus as celebrant.  

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery at Hennessey. 

She was born June 13, 1895, in Czechoslovakia and moved to America in 1905.  

She and Frank Vaverka were married November 17, 1914, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Bison.  They farmed southeast of Bison until 1960, when they moved into Bison. He died in December 1964.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. John (Teresia) Maly of Hennessey, Emma Pauline, Adella Melton and Lucille Dowell , all of Enid, 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Memorial may be made through the funeral home to the shrine at the church.
