Recitation of the Rosary for Jeanette LaPorte Fuksa, 70 will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday December 11, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian

Burial will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday December 12, 2018 at St. Joseph’s officiated by Rev. Ed Menasco. Burial will follow at Hennessey Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Jeanette was born in Enid on May 25, 1948 to L. D. and Helen Norris Laporte and died Saturday December 8, 2018 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid.

She graduated from Hennessey High School in 1966 and earned her master’s degree at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She married Daniel Fuksa in Hennessey on January 21, 1967. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.


Jeanette is survived by her husband Daniel of the home; one son Jeremy Fuksa and wife Robin of Kansas City, one daughter Erin Miller and husband Randal of Starkville, Mississippi; four grandchildren Nathan Fuksa, Emmi Miller, Hutch Miller and Hayden Fuksa.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
 

Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Relief Fund with the funeral home serving as custodian.
