September 8, 1930 ~ January 15, 2022

Norma June Bowker, 91, beloved Grandmother, Sister, Mother, and Aunt was called to her eternal resting place on January 15, 2022. She entered this world on September 8, 1930 in Wagoner County, OK, born to Bert and Mary Shelton.

June attended Shidler Public Schools and graduated in 1948. She married Frank Roscoe Bowker on March 16, 1955 in Shidler. They had one child, daughter, Mary Kathryn Bowker Voyles. She was an active member in the Shidler First Baptist Church. June sold Avon for years and also managed Willards Department Store in Cherryvale, KS. She enjoyed spending time at the casino with her sister Joyce. She also enjoyed crochet, needle point, putting together puzzles, yard work, and followed various sports. She relished the opportunity to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in sports.

She was preceded in death by; parents, Bert and Mary Shelton; Husband, Frank Roscoe Bowker; Daughter, Mary Kay Voyles; Sisters, Ruth Robinson and Betty Bowen.

She is survived by her sister, Joyce Davis of Ponca City, OK; son in law, Richard Voyles of Hot Springs Village, AR; grandsons, Greg Voyles and wife Candi of Wink, TX, Brian Voyles of Houston, TX, and J.R. Voyles and wife Kate of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren Gunner, Gatlin, and Gage Voyles of Wink, TX, Kohen and Lillian Kay Voyles of Houston, TX; Numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 2:00pm at Washunga Cemetery, in Newkirk, OK.
