Marget "Margie" Ellen Duncan passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at her home in Tonkawa. She was 94 years old. Margie was born on October 9, 1922 in Carroll County, Arkansas to her parents, Luther C. Emitt and Essie May (Moss) Emitt. She married W. C. "Bill" Duncan on October 9, 1922. Together, they had four children. Margie enjoyed gardening, quilting, embroidery, cooking for her family and especially her annual Christmas Eve party.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and two sisters.

Margie is survived by her children, Opal Gorman and husband, Gerald, Dorothea Ross White, Roy Duncan and wife, Marilyn, and Phillip Duncan, Sr. and wife, Mary all of Tonkawa, one sister, one brother, 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 23 great great-grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony for Margie will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Christian Life Church in Tonkawa. Friends and family are welcome at Anderson Funeral Home on Monday, October 31, 2016 until 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Life Church,115 W. Grand Ave, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
