Martha Jean Robinson, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018. She was 77 years old. Martha was born on November 14, 1941 in Iola, Kansas to her parents, Leo H. Jeck and Frances E. Kraus Jeck. She grew up in Iola graduating from Iola High School in 1959. After high school, she attended Allen County Community College graduating with an associates degree in education 1961. Martha married the love of her life, Richard L. Robinson on September 23, 1961 in Iola, Kansas.

In her early years, she worked for Kenneth and Novella Bussey at Tanglewood trailer park in the office. She later worked at Tyke-to-Teen Clothing Store for many years before beginning work at St. Mary's to work for Paul Gray in the Religious Education Department. When Father Flusche came to Ponca City, she became the parish secretary where she worked for many years. Martha worked as a secretary for Trout Funeral Home where she retired to spend more time traveling the world with her husband. While her children were growing up, she was a main stay at Kids Inc. every summer. When she wasn't keeping score books, she could be found helping in the concession stand. She was a very hands on mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother serving as homeroom mother and on the PTA.

Martha was preceded in death by twin sons, Timothy Dean Robinson and Thomas Joseph Robinson, brother, John Jeck, and sister, Mary Lou Hinson.

Martha is lovingly survived by her husband, Richard of Ponca City, daughter, Angie Robinson Swenson of Springdale, Arkansas, son, Jon Robinson of Norman, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Heather Ann (Kenny) Clone, Ashley Nicole Daniel , and Derek Curlee Daniel, great-grandchildren, Dryden Thomas Clone, Raelynn Jean Clone, Jayda M. Clone, Kerry Clone, and Madysen A. Clone, brother, Leo Jeck of Paola, Kansas, and twin sister, Margaret Joe Wille of Olpe, Kansas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. A Rosary Vigil Service will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel. Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at the funeral home on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Casketbearers will be the Nights of Columbus, Neal Otto, Pat Mulligan, Mike Butt, Tim Coffman, Bill Bridges, and Frank Latz. Honorary casketbearers will be Martha's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
