Primitiva "Ebeng" Cruz Pablo, age 93, of Ponca City, passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 in Frisco, TX.

Friends and loved ones may pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, September 26 from 8am-8pm with a Rosary Service at 6pm in the chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Friday, September 27, 2019 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Zak Boazman officiating. Following the Mass, Primitiva will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Ponca City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Primitiva's life began on July 23, 1926 to Pascual Octavo Cruz and Andrea Novales Cruz in Santa Lucia Calumpit Bulacan, Philippines. She was raised in the Philippines, graduating from High School before pursuing a degree as a pharmacist in college. After college, she met Guillermo Naguit Pablo at a get-together. They were married on February 14, 1956 in Manila, Philippines. Primitiva and Guillermo celebrating 43 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. After they were married, Primitiva became a loyal homemaker, caring deeply for her family. They lived in the Philippines until Guillermo retired and they moved to Ponca City in 1995 to be closer to family. Her traditional Filipino cooking was legendary, as she adored entertaining others, especially her family. When she wasn't caring for others in the kitchen, Primitiva was a proud supporter of the L.A. Lakers basketball team, but would make time to watch about any sport with golf and tennis being some of her favorites. Gardening was another of Primitiva's passions. She had a true green thumb with a special affinity for orchid plants. Primitiva has been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church since she has moved to Ponca City.

Survivors include her sisters: Carmelina Cruz Delapaz and husband Ben of Ponca City, Lydia Cruz Escudero of Santa Lucia Calumpit, Philippines, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.

Primitiva was preceded in death by her husband, Guillermo Naguit Pablo, mother, Andrea Novales Cruz, father, Pascual Octavo Cruz, siblings: Santiago Cruz, Maria San Angel, Eladio Cruz, and Iluminada Cruz Manansala.

Casketbearers will be Dennis Delapaz, Brandon Ozdemir, Mark Ozdemir, Ben Patriarca, Jose Luis Escudero, and Matt Cruz.
